I wish I had more time in my day to spend surfing YouTube videos, so I’m sure thankful for friends that pass along gems like this. Rose is probably a.) the cutest thing ever, and b.) me in a former life. No question about it: Time travel exists.

I won’t delve into the details, but I’ve been studying the architectural marvels of Germany lately. With that said, the Brandenburg Gate’s quadriga is one of the most famous of quadrigas ever created: It’s manned stationed by Victory, and was once taken by Napoleon during his occupation in Berlin! The word can refer to the chariot alone, the four horses without it, or the combination. I know, thrilling.
Did you know that Apollo delivered daylight in a quadriga? Uh, duh! Fantasia, anyone?!
Jeanne Samary looks born ready for Friday, doesn’t she? Turns out she used to go out with Renoir, who painted her post-break up in the Luncheon of the Boating Party that you can see at the Phillips Collection in DC. She’s the one being a major flirt with the two men at the back. And Renoir’s new girlfriend is playing with the dog. Whaaaa?! Renoir, you so crazy!

Does this Jackson Pollock paper doll also come with the wrecked car from the accident that killed him and his girlfriend’s friend? I see the whiskey bottle and lowball glass, so I appreciate the artist’s use of foreshadowing.
More importantly, like how hot does Frida look as a paper doll?!
“Our cook cooked it, I painted it and we ate it. That was one of the few times I’ve ever eaten the model.” – Norman Rockwell
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
